Our Statement of Faith

We are covered by the blood of the Lamb!

The Bible

The Bible is the God-breathed, Holy Spirit-inspired, inerrant, and infinite word of God, our Creator. Its our manual for all areas of life. It is our history, our present, and our future.  IT IS TRUTH!

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and to the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart." ~ Hebrews 4:12 KJV

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”

~ 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV

The Trinity

The Trinity exists of three separate, but unified persons, existing eternally -God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

God is the Head of the Trinity and is our supreme Creator of all things. We are made in His image. He is both the Alpha and Omega being omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.

“I'm the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord “Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty.”

~ Revelation 1:8 KJV

Jesus Christ is also a member of the Trinity, the manifestation of God Himself (a deity) and yet fully man who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. He was crucified on the cross as a final sacrifice for our sins and reconciled us to God the Father for eternity. He then rose from the grave and defeated both sin and death. He ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God. And whomever shall believe in Him, shall have eternal life.

“Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; who, for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

~ Hebrews 12:2 KJV

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity and works to indwell, empower, and guide mankind to live righteously, according to Scripture, among one another. He takes up residence inside each believer in Christ and leads to a renewed spirit in each one of us. He assists the believer’s revelation of Scripture and equips us for godly living in servitude within the body of Christ.

“And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

~ Ephesians 4:30 KJV

Sin

Sin is described in the Bible as transgression of the law of God and rebellion against God. Sin had its beginning with Lucifer as he rebelled against God, was prideful and wanted to BE God. As a result, he was cast down from Heaven and influenced Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Since that fateful decision made by them, sin entered the world, and eternal death (“the wages of sin is death”) was passed on through all the generations of mankind.

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”

~ Romans 5:12 KJV

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. "~Romans 6:23 KJV

Thankfully, all sin has been crucified on the cross of Jesus!

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that He lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,  He[d] made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ." ~Ephesians 1:7-10.KJV

Salvation

Salvation begins the moment one believes that Jesus Christ died for their sins, was buried, and resurrected to give eternal life. Then, they must openly receive Jesus Christ into their life and heart by confession of faith in Him. Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God's gift of forgiveness can man be safe from sin’s original penalty of death. Through His Spirit and Truth, we live today with the promise of eternal life in eternity with our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe in the forthcoming return of Christ to retrieve His bride, the Church.

“Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our instruction by faith, into this grace in which we stand, and we exult in hope of the glory of God.” ~ Romans 5:1-2

Eternity

After physical death, one will either be eternally united with our Heavenly Father (in Eternity) or will be eternally separated from God and Heaven, banished to Hell. The free will of God allows each person to decide whether to accept the salvation that comes via His grace through our faith as we believe in Jesus Christ or choose to refuse the gift of eternal life. The heart of God is for every person to be reconciled unto Him through Jesus Christ. Will you accept Him today?

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

~ John 3:16

“Jesus told them, ‘This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the One He has sent.” ~ John 6:29 NLT
